If You Knew Uke Like I Knew Uke

Apparently the ukelele is a real musical instrument, not a toy.

I love the fact that the other takes here include a concert uke and a resonator uke. Wicked cool.

Lou and Peter Berryman

We discovered Lou and Peter Berryman while living in Detroit in the late 80's and early 90's. They were played regularly on the Folk Show on Saturday mornings, hosted by Matt Watroba on WDET. They are delightful musicians, with amazing wordplay, clever lyrics, and an overriding sweet good humor that is almost too much fun. We saw them live in concert while living in Wisconsin. They were, of course, a load of fun live, and in gratitude we bought a CD to help them support their musical habit. Here are three of our favorites, that just happen to appear on Youtube.
